SINGER DAMIEN DEMPSEY is being hailed as a hero after rescuing two young men from drowning in Wexford on Sunday night.
Dempsey came to the men’s aid after spotting them in difficulties in the River Slaney, but after the rescue went about his business, seeking no praise and telling nobody about his bravery.
