Dara Ó Briain is very confused by the way that Calvin Klein are marketing their underwear

He has a point.

DARA Ó BRIAIN was out doing a bit of underwear shopping this afternoon.

It wasn’t long until Ó Briain found himself baffled by the marketing of some of the underwear.

When you think about it, it really is a bit over-the-top, but we see it so much that we’re all desensitised to it.

What “intense power” could a pair of underwear possibly hold? Realistically, it’s a bit of cloth that gets farted on all day.

It wasn’t just the “intense power” pants. There were also ones that claimed they were made of “iron strength” cotton.

Another pair inexplicably claimed to have “magnetic force”.

You walk into the kitchen and every piece of cutlery flies out of the drawer and sticks to your crotch. You destroy any credit cards you put into your pocket while you’re wearing these.

Somehow, the names got even worse.

“Liquid Cotton”.

Is liquid something that anybody wants to associate with a fresh pair of underwear?

Calvin Klein’s claims about their underwear got even more unbelievable. Behold, Calvin Klein ‘Black’.

Imagine seeing Dara Ó Briain standing in TK Maxx taking photos of jocks.

It’s not the first time Dara has pointed out how silly marketing towards men is.

Talking about men’s razors, Dara was previously amused by how excessive everything has to be:

Even the name of the five-blade razor is depressingly patronising. They just took every boy word and ran them together in a line. It’s called the ‘Gilette Fusion Power Stealth’. It’s tragic enough that it used to be called Fusion Power. It’s a razor blade for God’s sake.
I made a comment at a show in Manchester and somebody sent me a link to a new Kenwood kettle, called the Kenwood Stealth. It’s a kettle. What the f**k does it do? Hide in the garden behind the grass? Looking at you, waiting until you look thirsty?
