Dara Ó Briain cracked a photographer with a sliotar while playing hurling at the home of English cricket
Lords Facebook Lords Facebook
IT WAS ONLY earlier today we were noting how Dara Ó Briain is consistently one of the funniest people on Twitter.
And today, he provided another stellar moment for the catalogue.
He was let on to Lord’s cricket pitch in London – dubbed “the home of cricket” – with a hurl and sliotar to promote the upcoming series between Ireland and England.
During the photoshoot he launched into a hit for the camera… and it ended up landing bang on the photographer’s head:
The photographer wanted to get a good action shot for the cameras:
“Over my head!”

Even playing hurling on such a big cricket pitch is a moment in itself
It definitely was an accident, he was happy to clarify
The photographer on the day was James Cheadle and he was only delighted the camera was safe
Whoops!
