Def Leppard are claiming that One Direction’s tune has been ‘inspired’ by their classic hit, but are they angry? Hell no!
In fact, they’re flattered.
Def Leppard’s drummer Rick Allen has told TMZ that rather than head for the courts, the band is taking it as a compliment.
Allen diplomatically stated that:
It’s nice that their fans can see kinda where they may have been influenced.
He also said that if Def Leppard were to take legal action against One Direction:
I’m sure there’s a hundred other bands that would take action against us.
