THE MCDONALD’S TAKEAWAY boxes have so many design flaws. A student at Arizona State University, Jessica Stoll, had to come up with a practical project for her design course.
Of course, she set about tackling this serious issue in a practical way. When asked to redesign an existing package, she chose the McDonald’s box.
When going through the drive thru, adults get a paper bag, while kids get a clunky box. The solution Stoll came up with, is pretty genius.
Stoll said:
Its goal is to capture the simple delight of a child opening up a Happy Meal, while understanding that reality is often hectic and complicated.
It even comes with a handle you can carry with ease, transforming it from a lap food to a car seat snack, as you please.
To the table
To your lap
Take note, McDonald’s
