DOMHNALL GLEESON HAS been dishing out all the love on the promotional run for his new movie, Goodbye Christopher Robin.
For starters, he’s now best mates with his co-star, 8-year-old Will Tilston.
Cuties.
And prior to that, he was fan-girling over his mother! co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Here’s him squealing as she arrived on the red carpet for the movie’s premiere.
Wholesome, or what?
Now, he’s only gone and made us blubbery over recent comments he made about his dad, actor Brendan Gleeson.
During an interview about Goodbye, Christopher Robin, Domhnall was asked whether he was inspired by his own relationship with his dad. (In the movie, he plays writer A.A. Milne who begins writing stories about his son’s growing collection of stuffed animals).
Domhnall said:
My dad was amazing to play with and an amazing father. The problem with A.A. Milne was not always an amazing father. But for the moments of beauty, for sure, you draw on personal experiences all the time.”
Crying.
He also revealed his favourite Winnie The Pooh character is Eeyore.
I love Eeyore. The real Christoper Robin said that A.A. Milne took all of his sadness and all of his depression and all of his self-loathing and he poured it into one character that the world could love, and I think that’s a beautiful thing.”
Same TBH.
