Domhnall Gleeson and Daisy Ridley answered the most searched questions about Star Wars and it was really sweet
WITH THE FIRST showings of Star Wars: The Last Jedi hitting cinemas *this week*, the cast have been on a promotional whirlwind of late.
Yesterday, they sat down with Wired to answer the internet’s most searched questions about the cast and Star Wars in general.
And it was really entertaining
From an Irish perspective, the best part was the pairing of Domhnall Gleeson with Daisy Ridely.
They began with a handy one: who’s your favourite Star Wars character? Domhnall was in there first:
“Rey, easy.”
Wired Wired
Daisy didn’t believe him:
“That’s not true… sweet though”
Wired Wired
Daisy’s answer? “Yoda.”
“You’re supposed to say Hux! What’s going on here?”
Wired Wired
Daisy, you’re supposed to stick to the pact.
Next, what’s your favourite Star Wars episode? Domhnall got sarcastic:
“The main one with Hux… probably”
Wired Wired
All the questions on Google were coming up in that weird “what Star Wars about” format:
“Why can’t people use the word ‘is’?!”
Wired Wired
“Star Wars about love. Star Wars about hate”
Wired Wired
They were just taking the piss at this stage:
What Star Wars alien species are you?
Then Domhnall took over the questions. How did Rey beat Kylo Ren?
“Why’s that so hard for people to get, like, she’s super strong and he’s so weak”
Wired Wired
“You kicked his ass! That’s how Rey beat Kylo Ren”
Wired Wired
Their whole conversation was spliced together here, and they clearly get on so, so well
