An Irish woman found her doppelganger using an online campaign

This face is my face, that face is your face… no wait, that’s my faaace.

THEY SAY THAT everybody has a doppelganger out there somewhere, and there could be up to seven people in the world that look exactly like you.

Dubliners Niamh Geaney, Terence Manzanga and Harry English all set themselves  a challenge to find their own Twin Stranger within 28 days.

They set up a Facebook page two weeks ago, and their campaign started to spread, with US and New Zealand news outlets picking it up and putting out the appeal.

It looks like Niamh is in the clear lead, finding a girl name Karen who is quite frankly scarily like her.

She wrote on Facebook:

I found Karen through the power of social media and this weekend we met up in real life! Not going to lie, we were both pretty freaked out about seeing our double in the flesh.

It’s becoming a movement, since the trio were inspired by journalist Sophie Robehmed in 2011 who wrote about idea her doppleganger may be out there, and launched a YouTube channel to find her.

The trio are now helping others over on their Facebook page, just be prepared to be potentially freaked out to no end.
