Doug from House of Cards hit some classic Dublin pubs over the weekend
YESTERDAY WAS HOUSE of Cards actor Michael Kelly’s birthday – best known for his portrayal of Doug Stamper on the show – and he enjoyed it in the best way possible:
He hit some of Dublin’s famous pubs for a few pints.
In fact, he was out for the whole weekend
On the rollover.
Starting on Saturday, he was spotted in O’Donoghue’s, Grogans and Red Bank 1736 Wine Tavern to name just some that have been confirmed.
And he was only delighted to get in a few photographs with his Irish fans
Showing a soundness that goes against everything Doug Stamper stands for
Whoops!

Outside Grogans there – he obviously was getting good advice.
And people weren’t afraid to throw him a few pointers on Twitter
All in all, it looked like a fine session to celebrate his birthday
He even got in behind the bar and pulled some pints at O’Donoghue’s
Sure look, he might have been here on official business
Whoops!

Late last night, with his trip coming to an end, he posted one last picture to Instagram that summed up his weekend
Going by his tweets last night, it’s safe to say he’ll be back again soon to sample some more of our finest pubs.
Frank would be proud.
