WHEN A DRESS captures the internet’s attention, we all know how it can turn out.

So, over the weekend, Imgur user beedat entered a room and realised the carpet looked very familiar:

Titling the image ‘Wearing the floor’, she wrote:

I walked into the room and realised the floor had chosen the same outfit.

Awkward. But also brilliant.

This, of course, has gone super viral – with over one million views in less than 24 hours. Some of the comments on the Imgur post summed it all up:

In event of zombie apocalypse just lie down. Tuck in feet. Shirt over head.

And the floor dress just made people think about past blending glories, like this beach dress
