This heroic little Garda led the Drogheda Paddy's Day parade yesterday
LITTLE CEEJAY MCARDLE is the three-year-old Monaghan boy who dreams of growing up to be part of the Gardaí.
Ceejay was sadly diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of two – but that didn’t stop him becoming Ireland’s youngest and most adorable Garda recruit last year.
And yesterday he led the Drogheda St Patrick’s Day parade in full uniform
His mam posted to Facebook and YouTube documenting Ceejay’s big day
Here he is preparing in the local station for the parade
And watching on before he took his place at the front
There he is in the fire engine that he was in when he led the parade
Famously, Ceejay has support from police forces all over the world – and yesterday the messages kept on coming in
