OVER THE PAST week, Dubliners have been observing some unusual activity on the roof of a building in Dublin.
This lonely paddling pool was spotted by Enda Canavan last Friday on a shadowy rooftop on Tara Street.
The next day, the sun came out – but still, no one was there to paddle.
Finally, on Sunday evening, people in the surrounding buildings were treated to this tableau:
Let’s see what we have here – the pool, two lads, a couch, a plant, an inflatable of some sort, and what appears to be a table being built in the corner there.
Canavan reckons the lads were having a ‘pre-Bruce Springsteen party’ for themselves up on the roof:
Three or four others joined them later in the afternoon and then left all the items (including potted plant and homemade BBQ) behind them.
Fair play. Lads, can we come up? We’ll bring cans!
Thanks to Enda Canavan and Conor Gordon for the photos
