Here's the first photo from the sequel of Dumb and Dumber

Dumb and Dumber To is due to be released next year.

IT’S OFFICIAL, THEY’RE coming back.

Jim Carrey, aka Lloyd Christmas, took to his WhoSay account to give Dumb and Dumber fans a sneak peek of what’s in store.

Carrey posted the photo of his character’s infamous chipped tooth, which, after almost 20 years, he still hasn’t managed to get fixed.

Dumb & Dumber To, it’s happening ‘bichez’. Carrey had this to tweet:

GESS HUUZ BAK BICHEZ?

According to IMDB, Carrey chipped his tooth long before filming began, but removed the cap he usually wears to ensure Christmas looked just the right amount of deranged.

Carrey’s co-star Jeff Daniels will also be returning to reprise his role, the one his agent initially thought would ruin his career.

While a prequel called Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd was made in 2003, it didn’t include any of the original cast, nor involvement from the Farrelly Brothers.

Dumb and Dumber To will very much be a Farrelly Brothers creation, with the pair tweeting last year:

Not a whole lot is known about the plot yet, aside from the fact that the protagonists haven’t changed too much, and may be looking for a long lost child. Speaking to Digital Spy, Bobby Farrelly said:

I can tell you that there is no growth out of either one of them and it’s 20 years later. The story revolves around the fact that one of them may have sired a child. They want to go and find the child because he’s having a kidney problem and he wants to ask him for one of his kidneys.

The movie is set to hit cinemas in 2014 to mark the 20 year anniversary of the original’s release, with Variety reporting that filming is set to kick off later this month.
