People are hilariously unimpressed with Dundalk shop's 'stingy' competition prize
QUICK GUIDE TO holding a competition: For it to work, the prize has to be desirable.
This isn’t the case for the new Dundalk Shopping Centre, which is celebrating the opening of a Tesco Extra with a big competition on Facebook.
Twenty-five whole euro!
We would say it’s very nice of them, but no one else appears to agree.
Damn.
But the most Irish response of them all:
FREE €25? WE’D RATHER HAVE NOTHING AT ALL.
The shopping centre have assured customers that more prizes are on the way, but the damage has been done.
Are we a country of ungrateful so-and-sos? Or do we just know our worth? We need answers.
