ON A LATE Late that featured Bob Geldof, Nigella Lawson and some serious food being served up – there was only one set of guests the nation could talk about.
Yes, Dustin the Turkey and Al Porter were in the house and in panto mood
They turned up in the audience at the start of the show, and it was a little surreal
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Dustin knocking around
It was a shock
When they were discussing many of the world’s important issues (and panto), Dustin lobbed the gob on an unsuspecting member of the audience
Everyone wondered what Nigella was thinking

Their act didn’t go down particularly well with some
But they returned at the end to do their own version of Fairytale of New York – Late Late Toy Show Style
Which closed the show
They did manage to get in the most infamous reference of last week’s Christmas extravaganza though:
“Went to the stable to die on a table…”
