Dustin the Turkey tried to shift a member of the audience on the Late Late

Standard stuff.

ON A LATE Late that featured Bob Geldof, Nigella Lawson and some serious food being served up – there was only one set of guests the nation could talk about.

Yes, Dustin the Turkey and Al Porter were in the house and in panto mood

They turned up in the audience at the start of the show, and it was a little surreal

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Dustin knocking around

It was a shock

When they were discussing many of the world’s important issues (and panto), Dustin lobbed the gob on an unsuspecting member of the audience

Everyone wondered what Nigella was thinking

Don’t make a show of us in front of Nigella, please.

Their act didn’t go down particularly well with some

But they returned at the end to do their own version of Fairytale of New York – Late Late Toy Show Style

Which closed the show

They did manage to get in the most infamous reference of last week’s Christmas extravaganza though:

“Went to the stable to die on a table…”

And for some, the sight of Dustin on our screens was pure nostalgia
