Ed Sheeran dedicated a song to Triona Priestley at his secret gig in Dublin last night

The Dublin teen passed away moments after Sheeran sang to her on the phone.

ED SHEERAN PLAYED a not-so-secret gig in Vicar Street last night. As part of his promotion for his new album, the singer played three shows in one day, hitting Ipswich and London for short sets before landing in Dublin for a full gig.

But the crowd just couldn’t cope when he dedicated Little Bird to Triona Priestley

The Irish superfan sadly passed away from cystic fibrosis moments after a Twitter campaign convinced her idol to sing the song down the phone to her.

It’s at 21.30 on this entire stream of the gig.
