Lose something at Electric Picnic? Here's how you can get it back

Portlaoise Garda Station is “like an iPhone shop”, apparently.

LOSE SOMETHING AT Electric Picnic last weekend? You’re not the only one.

“It looks like an iPhone shop in here,” said one Garda at Portlaoise Garda Station. “The calls [for lost and found] have been endless.”

So what should you do if you’ve lost something?

Well, Gardaí told DailyEdge.ie that stuff like passports, bank cards and driving licenses will be sent back to the issuing authority or bank, so you’d best contact them directly.

For everything else – there will be an open day for members of the public to come in and view items of lost property next Tuesday, September 15, at Stradbally Garda Station from the hours of 10am to 5pm.

If you can’t make it down to the open day, call either Portlaoise or Stradbally Garda stations and give them the following:

  • Your name;
  • Your contact number;
  • And details about the item you lost. Be as specific as you can.

If the Gardaí can can match up the details with the items in Lost and Found, they’ll send them back.

So, to summarise:

lostandfound

Good luck!
