AWARDS SEASON IS upon us again, but this time the movie stars are stepping aside make way for their counterparts on the small screen.

The Emmy Awards are due to take place on 25 August – Mindy Kaling and Carson Daley announced the nominations at a short ceremony in Hollywood this afternoon.

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad lead the nominations with 19 and 16 nominations respectively.
