Two love rivals jumped in a river to see which one their boyfriend would save

That’s one way of sorting it out. Not a good way, but one way.

A CHINESE MAN was faced with a difficult decision recently when an ex-girlfriend and his current squeeze devised the ultimate test of his love.

Wu Hsia had broken up with his long-term love Jun Tang to date Rong Tsao, but according to News.com.au, Jun was desperately trying to win him back.

Wu arranged a meeting with the two girls at a park near a river in the city of Ningbo, eastern China, saying he was “sick of being nagged from both sides”.

When they got to the park, an argument broke out between the two girls – and it all took a turn for the worse.

A police spokesperson told the UK Mirror:

The girls began arguing and the man’s ex-girlfriend felt insulted by a comment made by the new girlfriend, and so she jumped into the river calling for her former lover to save her.

Fearing Wu might choose Jun, Rong threw herself in after her. Wu decided to save his current girlfriend, calling on his brother and the fire brigade to rescue his ex:

I was put in a difficult situation and I had to make a choice. And I chose Rong.

What is it they say about love? Oh yes. It makes you do stupid, stupid things.
