Half a million dog photos shared on single Facebook page... but why?

These pets’ pictures have all been shared on a Facebook page set up to cheer up a 16-year-old boy in Arizona, undergoing treatment for lymphoblastic leukemia.
Friends of Anthony Lyons’ family set up the page as a supplement to the canine therapy he’s been receiving while in hospital.
So far over half a million photos have been shared on the page, and more than 840,ooo people have shown their support.
