Graham Linehan says there's absolutely no chance of a Father Ted revival

Maybe it’s just better off this way… maybe.

FATHER TED FANS will either be overjoyed or disappointed to hear this. The show’s creator and co-writer Graham Linehan has quashed any hopes that the series could be set for a revival.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com, Linehan has said that there’s “no chance” of the show ever returning to our screens.

While his production company Delightful Industries are often sent priest-related pitches, it’s still a firm no.

A Dougal spin-off?

I would never bring Dougal back. Someone suggested to me a way of doing it but I am totally different person now. We have said everything we have to about the imaginary world of priests.

That’s another no then.

But was it ever going to?
