This F-16 pilot took the ultimate selfie while firing a Sidewinder missile

And here’s video of the moment.

IS THIS THE greatest selfie ever taken?

It shows a pilot at the controls of an F-16 fighter jet, at the moment a Sidewinder air-to-air missile is fired. (Take THAT, Ellen.)

The image is going viral around the world this week – it has already appeared on Gizmodo, Mail Online, and the Huffington Post.

And it turns out the photo is actually a still from a longer (and thus even more awesome) video selfie. It shows the pilot firing the missile, then banking the plane sharply away above the clouds.
