THIS MORNING, THE Standards in Public Office Commission published reports regarding the Dáil General Election and Seanad General Election in 2016.
The reports detail donations made over the course of the campaign as well as the expenses incurred by political parties, candidates and third party organisations.
Each political party submitted an expense report outlining how much was spent on posters, transport, advertising — you know yourself.
Skimming through Fine Gael’s report and you might spot an unusual declaration…
Erection posters, you say? Is it possible you meant erection *of* posters?
Awkward.
For what it’s worth Fianna Fáil remembered to stick the old “of” in their report.
