FIRST DATES IRELAND was one of the breakout telly hits of 2016, and even though we’re only a couple of weeks into the new year it’s already back on our screens.
And it was quite the opening episode.
Matteo was the first person on screen

The first two daters in were Lauren and Paddy – and both of them were on their first *ever* dates
Their opening gambits were… interesting and adorable
We were liking this pair early on though, a potential match was definitely on the cards
Paddy guessed Lauren’s favourite TV show and her favourite musician ON THE FIRST GO
