TODAY IS A landmark day in this little island’s food history. Five Guys has finally, finally opened its doors here, in Belfast’s Victoria Square shopping centre.

If you’re not already familiar with Five Guys, here’s the deal: The menu consists of hot dogs, veggie-friendly sandwiches, and double and single-patty burgers.

Five Guys is famous for making all the food fresh on the premises on the day, going so far as to only use coolers (not freezers) in its stores.

As a result, the burgers are TO DIE FOR. Visitors to Five Guys Belfast have been sharing pictures of their meals on social media, and we’re not half jealous.
