Dublin's getting a new chicken place and it looks amazing
FANCY A ROTISSERIE chicken with your pint (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t)?
Look no further than The Square Ball on Hogan Place in Dublin 2.
Bodytonic (the bar group which also operates The Bernard Shaw, The Back Page, Wigwam and MVP) is introducing Fowl Play, a “fire and smoke chicken joint” to The Square Ball, promising free range rotisserie chicken with salads and sides.
Bodytonic’s Trevor O’Shea (who’s also one of the guys behind The Big Grill Festival in Dublin’s Herbert Park) is leading the charge with fellow Big Grill founder Andy Noonan, and they’re working with Kerry chef John Relihan to perfect the menu, promising to begin serving very soon.
‘Fowl Play’ is not only a chicken pun, but also a nod to the sports and games theme of The Square Ball, which features a dedicated games room.
Chicken, pints, and battering your mate at Street Fighter? See you there!
