WE’RE ALL WELL aware of the two main types of Freddos in Ireland – plain and caramel.

But (mostly) in Australia – the home of the Freddo – they get treated to some frankly audacious and delicious-looking varieties:

1. Like the Crunchie Freddo

Yes, bits of actual Crunchie bar inside a Freddo.

Hold us.

2. Then they have a Strawberry Freddo

3. And the famous white chocolate Freddo, recently rumoured to be on its way to Ireland

Not happening, but still looks class.

4. They have a “popping candy” version over in the UK

What is this sorcery?

5. There have been mint Freddos produced as well

FANCY.

6. And there’s the intriguing pineapple Freddo too

7. But finally, and perhaps the most important, is the “Milky Top” – which combines milk and white chocolate into the ultimate Freddo down under
