HERE WE GO, here we go, here we go…
So Ireland’s Euro 2016 odyssey kicks off against Sweden on Monday at 5pm. And some of the nation’s pubs are offering some free pints to settle the nerves – with a few not-too-ridiculous conditions.
Here they are:
The East Village Bar in Douglas, Cork is giving away a free pint to everyone when Ireland hit the back of the net
And The Jar on Wexford Street is doing the same: for each goal that goes in – a free pint to all
And with their new tricolour front, an entirely appropriate gesture.
Brubakers in Dundalk is also doing the one pint-per-Ireland-goal offer – but they also have free pizza too
Morton’s in Firhouse, Dublin are all over the free pints as well
While Hamill’s of Ardee in Louth are just giving a free pint to anyone who’s in the door before the Sweden kick off on Monday
You don’t even need to rely on an Ireland goal for a free brew.
The Quays Bar in Derry is doing it for both NI and the Republic when (ahem, if) the first goal goes in
There are more pubs around the country that have free pints for the early birds
The early bird catches the free pint, and all of that
COYBIG!
