'Frostbit' guy chatted about his viral success on UTV last night

He thinks it’s “mad craic altogether”.

BY NOW, YOU’VE probably heard of Rory McSorley, the Derry A Level student with the amazing accent who became an unwitting viral star after an appearance on UTV News on Tuesday night.

McSorley’s interview has now been viewed over one million times by people all around the world, so UTV News had him back on last night to chat about the video’s success.

It was just delightful.

Again, in case anyone needs things cleared up:

Oh god it’s mad craic altogether, imagine that! God, I thought it had only gone as far as the Free State, but honest to God it even as far as Japan and Pakistan and America overnight!
I sort of realised at a young age, it didn’t matter what I did because I was going to get a scolding. So I just decided if I was going to get scolded either way I might as well have a bit of craic. I’d just like to go on and have my own television programme, maybe a bit of stuff on the stage.

Someone, please take him up on this. We could listen to him talk all day.
