Funny Feet – the other incarnation of the appendage-shaped Freaky Foot – are returning to freezers after HB ran a competition to see which childhood ice cream people wanted to bring back.
More than 6,000 people voted for the five-toed dessert.
Anna Owen, HB Ireland’s marketing manager, said:
Sometimes in life you need to take one step back to take two steps forward and, having listened to our loyal fans, we reckon that HB Funny Feet will be the hottest ice cream this summer and be as relevant to today’s customers as it was in the 80s.
