This Galway pub turned itself into the GPO for the weekend’s celebrations
SO MANY PEOPLE did their bit to commemorate the centenary of 1916 over the weekend- with the tributes ranging from the touching to the artistic.
One pub in County Galway thought they would pay their own respects too – by brilliantly turning themselves into the GPO for the Easter weekend:

Iain MacLaren took the shots and told DailyEdge.ie that it’s Peg’s Pub in Collinamuck, Galway – and they did a decent job of recreating the GPO out west for one weekend only.
They went all out with the tricolours along the road as well
