YESTERDAY, GARTH BROOKS announced that he would play two huge comeback shows at Croke Park in July.

Naturally, Ireland lost its collective mind. And as a matter of national importance, the announcement was featured on the RTÉ news at nine o’clock.

They spoke to some fans who had travelled to Croke Park. Not to see Garth Brooks play, but just to see his flesh with their eyes.

It all started out with a good old sing-song, and a flag that says “GARTH IS BACK / BRING ON THE CRAIC.”

This guy described his last Garth Brooks experience.

This man recounted how he got up that morning and travelled FROM MAYO to “catch a glimpse” of Troyal Garth Brooks. Fair play.

And this woman really didn’t want to be disappointed

Luckily, she DID get to meet him!
