It looks like that picture of George Clooney in Northern Ireland is photoshopped

The image is everywhere today – but it’s not real.

THE RUMOURS HAVE been going around all week that George Clooney was coming to Ireland to pay us a visit in the near future.

Then, this photo popped up on Twitter today – purporting to show Cloons hanging around Main Street in Newcastle, Co Down:

Social media is abuzz with speculation about the Hollywood actor outside Hallmark earlier today.

But as quickly as that photo was being retweeted, there has already been a debunking

Today’s photo of him looks like a very good Photoshop job from the above image - shot back in 2007.

So, on what we know right now, it looks like George isn’t here.
