Gordon Ramsay has had a proper cut off Jamie Oliver as their feud gets bitter... it's the Dredge

All the celeb dirt that’s fit to rake, here.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Gordon Ramsay always has something to say for himself, but the last person you’d think he’d get into a public argument with would be fellow celeb chef and clean cut dad Jamie Oliver – but that’s exactly what’s happened.

And it’s ratcheted up a notch this week.

Let’s take a look at how this all came about, shall we?

Back in March, Ramsay took over the presenting reins of ITV’s The Nightly Show for a whole week – and he made so many jokes at Oliver’s expense, culminating in this “apology”:

Things simmered for a few months, but Jamie finally addressed the barbs when speaking to The Sun in August:

All my friends and people I work with in TV were very p*ssed off for me. But it’s a bit like going to see someone you love who has dementia who keeps forgetting and then doesn’t remember what they’ve said.
It doesn’t bother me anymore, but it was a lot, he hasn’t texted to apologise, I don’t know if he does emotion like that.

Definitely sounds like it bothers him.

But one particular comment by Jamie has taken the war of words to the next level:

He’s got four kids and I’ve got five kids and I don’t want to be slagging off some kids’ dad on telly.

Seems like an innocuous, diplomatic comment? Well, Ramsay didn’t see it that way.

In an interview with The Radio Times this week, Ramsay went in on Oliver:

Jamie turned round and said, ‘I’ve got five kids, he’s got four kids.’ To judge someone else’s family on the amount of kids you have…

The context being that Gordon and his wife Tana went through a miscarriage last year, and the comment was seen as a direct reference to that. Ramsay has demanded an apology:

Boys will always fight and butt heads but Tana was mortified, I mean really mortified.

He didn’t stop the criticism there, either.

Ramsay continued:

It’s all very well to spout off now about sugar tax and supermarkets. None of that was spoken about when he was label-slapping with Sainsbury’s for 10 years.

And no disrespect, but we’re chefs, not politicians. When you breathe that stuff down the public’s throat and say, ‘I’m leaving if we have Brexit’, then, I’m sorry, the door stands open.
Stand for what you say. Sadly, the only time he opens his mouth is when he’s got something to promote.

Kylie Jenner is planning the pregnancy announcement to end all pregnancy announcements – and wants to outdo the buzz around Kim’s famous Paper magazine shoot.

Sibling rivalries, eh?

Last night, Kylie posted a photo to Instagram of her wearing a comically oversized shirt, fuelling the pregnancy rumours even more:

The story on RadarOnline says:

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 20-year-old was considering selling her announcement to the highest bidder, but is now going to break the big news herself.
“Kylie will announce her pregnancy on Instagram in the next week or so,” a source said. “And she believes that she is going to break the internet when she does.”

Watch out.

The rumours are circulating that Niall Horan is “growing close” to Hollywood actress Lily Collins.

Well, well, well.

She’s been spotted at some of his gigs during his recent mini tour of the States, according to Grazia:

It’s very early days, but there’s a huge spark. Lily turned up with a friend to a gig he played at The Troubadour in LA and she was all over him after the set.

The star of movies like To The Bone and Love, Rosie, Lily is said to be worried about Nialler’s notorious fanbase:

Lily is worried about dating Niall because obviously the relationship would be high-profile and he has a huge fanbase. They’re waiting to go public, but she looked positively giddy about him at his gig and everyone could see the chemistry.

You’re welcome in Mullingar any time, Lily. (Goss.ie)
