GRAHAM NORTON’S COUCH was chock-a-block this week, with Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin and David Beckham joining him for chats.
Never mind those lads fawning over each other though – the star of the show was actually Anna, repping the Irish abroad.
She managed to get herself into Graham’s coveted red chair to tell a story about a night out she had back when she lived in Dublin.
I was on a night out, and I went home with a guy, as you do sometimes, and the taxi is taking forever, we’re going further and further out of the city.
But we rock up to this amazing mansion. I’m like, ‘ok, this is so good, this was completely worth the journey’.
He takes me around to the back to a shed, and basically pulls out a blow-up mattress and a small foot pump, and starts slowly blowing up this mattress.”
After waiting for him to blow up the mattress, she sits on a drumkit “hating herself”.
So then I wake up in the morning, it’s deflated, I’m on the cement floor, he rolls over to me and goes, ‘you and me last night? High five!’”
Bravo. Graham decided not to flip her because “she’d been through enough”. We’re inclined to agree, TBH.
