Guinness held a Twitter Q&A, but neglected to answer this very important question

A question that has plagued generations of Guinness drinkers.

EARLIER TODAY, GUINNESS Ireland invited Twitter users to submit questions to two of its brewers under the hashtag #askthebrewers.

The Q&A saw the brewers answer questions about the new Dublin and West Indies porters, Guinness-flavoured ice-cream and the brand itself. It was pretty much exactly what you would expect and mostly featured answers like this.

Alright, Guinness.

There was one deeply important question, however, that went unanswered. One that has plagued Guinness drinkers for generations. That is…

Never had the misfortune of smelling a Guinness fart? This description is pretty accurate/powerful.

Farts you could knit with.

As these Guinness drinkers will attest, Guinness farts are a very real problem.

See? Very real.

Unfortunately, Guinness did not shed any light on to how to best deal with this problem, so the scourge must continue.

Maybe just invest in a Yankee candle and breathe through your mouth for the foreseeable future.
