Hailo Ireland delivers subtle U2 burn with latest app update

HERE AT DailyEdge.ie we like to think of events of the past few weeks as BSOF (Before Songs of Innocence) and ASOF (After Songs of Innocence).

We like to remember those halcyon days when people didn’t fly into an apoplectic rage owing to an unwanted U2 album appearing on their Apple devices.

Now that the the dust stirred up by the announcement that U2′s new album was to be delivered for free to iPhones and iPads across the world has settled, Hailo Ireland are providing us with a little reminder of a time when Bono, Apple and the awkward finger moment ruled the world.

Their latest iOS app update contains the subtlest of burns about that U2 album; small and perfectly formed.
