LAST MONTH, A mysterious new pub popped up in Dublin 7 with no name.
In the couple of weeks since, it’s got a name – The Mission – and it’s been renovated both inside and out. But there’s one other string to their bow that they have just announced:
They serve ham and cheese toasties until LATE
Midnight to be precise.
Owner Kieran Finnerty told DailyEdge.ie that they’re still in the “experimental phase” when it comes to what cheese works best, but right now they serve them:
with a choice of Gouda or Edam cheese, smoked ham & white bread from Thunders Bakery
And they come with a pile of crisps too
The humble toastie is a staple of many a Dublin pub. Making them available late into the night seems like a good call – for those hungry drinkers who just want a casual bite and not a full meal.
