This little boy with autism in Cork lost his favourite Happy Meal toys so McDonald's stepped in
Facebook Facebook
LITTLE RILEY FROM Cork is two and a half years old and has non-verbal autism.
Riley also absolutely loves the Angry Birds toys from the McDonald’s Happy Meals.
He had built up a collection of a few of his favourite toys over the last few months – but earlier this week he lost them. As his mam Nicole told Cork’s Red FM, this was a disaster:
Unluckily for Riley, McDonald’s has changed its Happy Meal toy since he got them, meaning they couldn’t just go and get another. So Nicole emailed McDonald’s asking could she buy them – but something even better happened:
This package arrived at their house the very next morning from McDonald’s, filled with his favourite Angry Birds toys

Wonderful.
Nicole told DailyEdge.ie that the package meant the world to Riley:
The box contained the soundest note as well:
“Hope this cheers up little Riley”

Mission accomplished.
Given Nicole had only asked about purchasing some more, the sheer amount of free toys was a delight:
She sent her story into local radio station Cork’s Red FM last night and everyone has fallen in love with this heartwarming tale.
And here he is enjoying his haul <3
