Hermitage Green played a UL RAG Week house party and the Gardaí shut it down

Bound to happen.

IRISH BAND HERMITAGE Green have a proud history of pitching up to student gaffs and playing gigs during RAG Week.

They did it last year at UCD, and it was a serious session:

Yesterday, they were back – with an impromptu appearance in College Court at University of Limerick.

They were there to help raise money for Corbett Suicide Awareness.

And they put on one hell of a show in the living room/kitchen

For 28 minutes they broadcast it live on Facebook

And the crowd in the house were loving it

But then the noise complaints got too much and the Gardaí called over. The band wrote:

“Our Facebook Live video escalated fairly quickly in UL earlier. Soz. We know not what we do. But good fun was had and we raised a few shillings for charity…”

They apologised further with another post this evening:

Apologies to the Gards that had to come out and shut it down – they were sound about it and very reasonable.

No RAG Week is safe.
