Hughie Maughan's disastrous fake tan was all anyone could talk about on Dancing With The Stars
FROM DES CAHILL becoming Ireland’s Ed Balls to Teresa Mannion’s storm-inspired number, Dancing With The Stars is proving to be the perfect Sunday night telly.
Contestant Hughie Maughan stole the show last night – but it was less to do with his dancing, and more to do with his good friend Sally Hansen.
“Just going on stage, is the tan enough or do I need more?” he jokingly asked his Instagram followers before the show.
Dunno Hughie, think you need a bit more on the cheeks? You’re not quite sun-kissed enough for us.
‘Insiders’ on the show told The Irish Sun that they couldn’t wrest the tan out of Hughie’s hands, with the Big Brother star saying you “can’t have enough tan”.
Now, bear in mind Hughie usually sports a bronzed look…
…But this is something else entirely.
Viewers were highly amused by Hughie’s ‘interesting’ colour, and the necessary comparisons to Ronseal and Ross from Friends were made:

The tan disaster was turned into a Twitter Moment seen all over the world, from Australia to Canada – so maybe it wasn’t such a disaster after all, eh Hughie?

We can’t wait to see what he does next week. The tango, perhaps?
