ORIGINALLY, HANDROLLED ICE cream started out in Thailand and rapidly spread to the US and beyond.
Basically how it works is that the ice cream is thrown down onto a cold grill at minus 30 degrees and laid out until it can be scraped off in rolls – giving it its very distinctive look.
And this summer it landed in Dublin.
Arctic Stone is an ice cream stall based mostly in Dun Laoghaire’s People’s Park – and the toppings added look delish
