WESTLIFE WILL PLAY two sellout concerts at Croke Park this weekend as their 14 years together come to an end.
After those 14 years which have included 14 UK number ones and a total of more than 44 million records sold worldwide, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne are calling it a day eight years after former band mate Brian McFadden did similar.
Briefly known as Westside in the early days, the band later changed it to Westlife and went on to enjoy unparalleled success in the Irish music industry and beyond.
Manager Louis Walsh has admitted there will be tears when the band calls it a day after entertaining many thousands of fans at Croker tonight and tomorrow.
