WATCH: Thief tries to steal iPad from shop, fails miserably

And they really made an effort too.

THIS PIZZA PLACE uses an iPad on its counter to promote a loyalty app. (“It’s an old iPad, too,” they wrote on YouTube.)

A would-be thief spotted it through the window of the Pie Hole Pizza Joint in Lakeview, Chicago, and decided to go for it.

However, they ran into a few problems when the iPad turned out to be tied to the counter. Morto.
