8 Irish celebrities and their first ever tweets
IRISH CELEBS ARE quite fond of Twitter, aren’t they?
The New York Times discovered, the first tweet isn’t always the deepest, in fact, they’re usually quite vacant.
We had a dig around to see if the first tweets of our favourite Irish celebrities were of any substance.
Our findings were bleak.
1. Amy Huberman took the Twitter bird to heart
2. Chris O’Dowd was an early adopter, with his first tweet in February 2009
3. Vinnie B’s not far behind him, joining up in April of the same year
4. Vogue fought the inevitable
5. BOD kept us waiting in anticipation
6. Hooky dove straight in, no holds barred
7. Jedward were there usual mad selves
8. Rosanna expected magic, that never quite arrived
