The Irish 'GoPro dad' was given a free Vegas trip - so he can film it the right way round

Las Vegas offered Joe Griffin a free do-over after his GoPro exploits went viral. Go Joe!

LAST WEEK, THE world fell in love with Irish man Joe Griffin.

Joe borrowed his son Evan’s GoPro camera for his recent trip to Las Vegas, but hilariously filmed the whole thing in selfie mode – capturing such sights as the inside of the Las Vegas monorail, his hotel room, and an (particularly fancy, we’ll admit) escalator.

Evan found the footage and uploaded it to YouTube, where it EXPLODED.

Since we posted the video last Friday Joe has gone viral all around the world, earning over seven million views on YouTube and attracting the attention of the city of Las Vegas.

The city decided it couldn’t just stand by and let Joe ruin his holiday memories, so they offered him and Evan an an all-inclusive ‘redo’ of the holiday this week.

They’ve been promised tours of all the Vegas hotspots as well as some ‘added surprises’, one one condition – he has to film it all the right way round.

We trust you, Joe. You can do this.
