This granny from Tipperary was surprised with a trip to New York and her reaction is wonderful

Lorraine Butler’s grandmother Olive Chester was told she was going on a trip to London for her 80th birthday, but her granddaughter had a surprise in store.

Lorraine lives in Russia and told Olive she’d meet her in London, but instead, she travelled to Ireland to surprise her under the guise that she knew Olive didn’t like to fly alone.

But the surprises didn’t end there.

They gave the woman in check in a heads up that Olive thought she was going to London, when New York was actually on her boarding pass

Lorraine tells us that Olive is “loving it” in New York, sipping cocktails and having a ball.
