Irish hotelier pens scathing open letter to some rather exacting customers
NOTE TO SELF: Don’t ever try to extort free stays out of hoteliers under threat of bad reviews. They’ll come after you.

The director of the Charleville Lodge Hotel in Dublin was suspicious of the motives of some particularly difficult guests, and decided to speak out about it in an open letter on their Facebook page.
He voices concern about the growing trend of TRTs (that’s Travel Review Threats), in which customers threaten to post a bad review on a travel website unless they get a discount or free stay.
It’s a long one, so you might want to get a cup of tea and settle in.
Um, phew. We didn’t know about Travel Review Threats before, but we’ll be damned if we ever try it after that.
