Lads.

IRISH PEOPLE ARE renowned for a lot of things — our hospitality, our friendly demeanor, our appetite for craic…

And it seems that we might also be slight narcissists.

According to new research commissioned by the Huawei Snapys, Irish people take 40 times more selfies than Americans and 8 times more selfies than our English peers.

Lads!

Yes, it seems that Irish people can’t get enough of taking selfies, whether they’re in Penneys or at an Ed Sheeran gig…

The research also found that Galway is the selfie capital of Ireland with Galwegians taking 6 times more selfies per capita than Dubliners.

As for Ireland’s most Instagrammed landmark? That would be the Cliffs of Moher, followed closely by Croke Park.

In fairness…

All of the (rather sobering) information was sourced through Instagram API and mixagram.com by the Huawei Snapys.
