UNUSUALLY FOR THE Apprentice, 2016 has blessed us with two Irish participants – both of whom have made it deep into the competition.
But last night that came to an end for one of them, as Dillon St Paul was thrown off in a dramatic double eviction.
Both teams were briefed with creating a new virtual reality game – and one phrase dominated:
“Gordon’s lost his badger”
We have seen the future of gaming and his name is Astro Badger. #theapprentice pic.twitter.com/wY7HZVRDnk

It was the theme of the night
Despite being thrown out, Dillon had another eventful night
Shade, singing, attempted illustrating.
After Sofiane and Dillon were excused from the boardroom, they took the standard taxi journey – and the Irishman’s final line on the show was excellent:
“I am extremely creative – but Lord Sugar didn’t see that because I’m dealing with a bunch of monkeys on a task. The plan is to get back to Dublin, get a spray tan and conquer the magazine world.”
*applause*
In terms of last lines on the show, it was quality
A double firing is always a bit of a shock
But people were a bit devastated about Dillon’s demise – not least fellow contestant Jessica
All told, he had a good run at it – but his fans are definitely going to miss that shade.
